Acquire
patient files and static and video images from various portals
and display them in any one of more than 50 file formats
— including DICOM. You can also perform a screen capture
with options such as Capture Area or Capture Active Window,
allowing users to either capture from within the program
or from the active window of another program.

Edit
images with zoom in or out, our new magnifying glass tool,
or pan window. You can resize, crop, rotate, flip, mirror,
or adjust levels of the images. Try one of over 30 filters
on static images and video including Contour, Deskew, Despeckle,
Dilate, Equalize, Erode, Gamma correct, Gamma enhance, Hue,
Invert, Median, Motions blur, Saturation, Sharpen, Sheer,
Window/Level and many more. The program supports all Photoshop
plugins — some of which are included with reViewMD
Desktop.
reViewMD
Desktop comes with an Annotation program that lets you add
notes or comments on your images, highlight text and draw
shapes to show key features of the image, and even record
comments and play a voice annotation which can be stored
with your medical images or movies. So the next time you
email an image to fellow medical and healthcare professionals,
it will literally speak to them.

reViewMD Desktop to convert your large DICOM files to a
more portable file size. With ImagePro MD you can take a
4MB DICOM file and convert it to a 400KB MPEG file that
you can email, save on a disk, or take with you on your
PDA.

image files via email or network or just fax them to any
fax machine using FaxMailer directly from reViewMD Desktop.
Receive faxes on your PC, view and edit them in reViewMD
Desktop, then fax back.
