ProMedia CD Burning Tips
The default CD Track(s) conversion settings are not optimized for all CD-ROM drives. If you are unable to perform a conversion, enable the alternate conversion method option by right-clicking the CD Track(s) menu button.

Building an audio disc is a snap using ProMedia. Add WAV or MP3 files to the audio track queue in order by track number, set the desired properties (only needed the first time if you wish to use the same settings for future recording) and write the disc.

On some systems, it may by necessary to turn off Auto-Insert Notification, or the disc closing operation can fail. Check MSDN on how to do this for the appropriate operating system.

All recording from ProMedia is achieved by using Track-at-Once recording (TAO). Be sure to use the Cache setting if the audio source files are coming from a network source or system resources are not very responsive (slower CPU, low memory, slow hard drive, etc.). This is especially true of recording MP3 files, which often require significant system resources to translate while writing a disc.

Caution should be exercised if attempting to burn MP3s 'on-the-fly' on slow machines.
Once the record operation is started, the application should not exit until the recording is complete, cancelled, or generates an error. Closing operations cannot be cancelled — it must complete or generate an error. This feature will work with most CDR/W drives, but we do not guarantee complete functionality on every drive.

Both IDE and SCSI drives are supported.
