announces the release of PictPocket, a Pocket PC powerhouse
offering an innovative solution for the user on the go.
How
often have you headed to a family gathering and left that
envelope of pictures on the kitchen counter? Or even forgotten
to pick the pictures up at the developers? How many times
have you disregarded writing names and dates on the back of
photos only to look at them and forget who and when that was?
DigiSoft
has developed PictPocket, for those specific purposes. PictPocket
is a software program that allows you to access images
and their annotations on your pocket or handheld Windows CE
device, anytime, anywhere.
PictPocket
supports and displays many image file formats including, MPEG-1and
MPEG-2 video, BMP, 2BP, JPG, JPE, JPEG, GIF, PCX, PCD, TIF,
TIFF and more, providing the user with a truly mobile multimedia
viewing experience. PictPocket features tap and drag to pan
images, zoom in, zoom out, zoom 100%, and zoom to fit, a preview
bar with thumbnails, picture rotations (+90, -90, 180), and
previous image (action button up), next image (action button
down). Users can even watch video or create exciting slide
show presentations.
With PictPocket's annotation elements, you can add notes
or comments on your images as well. Plus, users can
highlight text and draw shapes to show key features of the
image, and even record and play a voice annotation, which
can be stored with your pictures or movies. So, the next time
you email an image to "Aunt Bessie," it will really speak
to her — literally.
