the way in DigiSoft's family of new software applications
is ImagePro 2K1 (now known as ProMedia), a desktop
application that has a broad range of functions, including
support for over 50 image file formats, including
MPEG-1, MPEG-2, GIF animation and DICOM, the standard
for medical imaging.
ImagePro2K1 can capture image data from a scanner, digital
camera or frame grabber, as static images or video. Additionally,
there are a number of edit functions available
in ImagePro 2K1, including, crop, resize, rotate, and enhance.
Plus ImagePro 2K1 features over 30 tools and filters
such as gamma correction, equalize, sharpen and smooth, rivaling
any one of its photo imaging predecessors. With our plug-in
support, ImagePro 2K1 offers an endless variety of
special effects for your images.
ImagePro
2K1 has the capacity to convert images, untouched
or edited, to one of numerous file formats offered within
the program, such as video to MPEG-1, MPEG-2, Multi-page TIFF
or GIF animation. The static file conversions, alone, of ImagePro
2K1 are too numerous to mention in this DigiSoft release.
The program offers an annotation feature which includes draw,
buttons, pushpins, stamps, highlight, protractor, ruler, and

For
the Pocket PC enthusiast, DigiSoft offers PictPocket
and reViewMD. These Pocket PC powerhouses offer an
innovative solution for the user on the go. Both programs
support and display many image file formats including, MPEG-1video,
BMP, 2BP, JPG, JPE, JPEG, GIF, PCX, PCD, TIF, TIFF, providing
the user with a powerful multimedia application. In addition,
reViewMD dispalys DICOM static images and video for the mobile
physician requiring access to medical image data at the point
of care. Through wireless connectivity, the physician can
access critical patient image data at remote locations, and
use the voice or draw program to record the abnormality. PictPocket
and reViewMD feature tap and drag to pan images, zoom in,
zoom out, zoom 100%, and zoom to fit, a preview bar with thumbnails,
picture rotations (+90, -90, 180), and previous image (action
button up), next image (action button down). Brightness, contrast
and histogram equalization functionality enhances image quality.
The user can also watch video or create slide show presentations
with voice (.wav) file or draw annotation.
ImagePro
2K1 and the Pocket PC programs — PictPocket
and reViewMD — work together to maximize the
usefulness of your devices. For example, ImagePro 2K1
can can work with most digitizing hardware to digitize video,
enhance and then convert it to a smaller MPEG-1 movie and
send it directly to the docked Pocket PC. The user can just
pick up the Pocket PC and take the movie anywhere.
